PESHAWAR: The security in Peshawar has been put on high alert in the face of unsatisfactory law and order situation in the provincial capital on Saturday while the suspected vehicles and persons are being strictly checked.

According to police sources, all the entrances and exists of city, in a bid to step up security measures, are being strictly monitored.
