LAHORE ( 2009-06-27 10:07:24 ) :Pakistan cricket team left for Colombo Saturday morning to play One-day and Test series against Sri Lanka.

Talking to media at Lahore airport before departure Coach Intikhab Alam said Mohammed Yousuf’s return will definitely improve batting of the team. “All players of the team are fit and fully capable to face Lankan spin attack,” Intikhab said.

“The summer is warmer in Sri Lanka than here but the players would adjust to the local climate soon,” team coach said.

Replying a question, Intikhab said Shoaib Akhtar would have to prove his fitness in domestic cricket for his return to the national cricket team.
