LONDON: Mervyn Westfield and Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria are to face an England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) hearing over the corrupt activities that led to the English seamer’s imprisonment.
All of cricket’s leading countries were involved in the fixing of major matches, not just Pakistan, the sport’s former chief anti-corruption investigator said Tuesday.
KARAHCI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has resolved dismissing three players including captain Salman Butt, young bowler Mohammed Aamir and fast bowler Mohammed Asif. Sources told Geo News that PCB has reached this decision, which may likely to see implementation before Thursday.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday, taking notice on news reports of spot-fixing allegations being leveled against Pakistani cricketers, sought a report on the issue. The President awoke to the issue and ordered submission of a detailed report in this regard after a British scribe broke a news report of spot-fixing by Pakistani cricketers.
